The Wichita Falls Runners Club has graciously agreed to assist by providing micro chips for each runner. This will guarantee accurate times for each runner no matter what time you begin the race. Each segment of the course has been checked by GPS for pin point accuracy for the Mile, 5K and 10K. The route is designed to be safe with Clay County Volunteer Firemen, EMS and Ham radio operators providing support. Numerous volunteers will be manning well stocked rest stops and street crossings that are clearly marked for each race.The packet pick-up will be Friday night at the HISD Administration Building 1801 E Crafton, Henrietta, Texas. The mile run will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 19, 2011 at the J.W. “Dub” Laseman and Lyndon Laseman Athletic Field House. The 5K and 10K will begin at 8:30 a.m.
The Field House is located on the Henrietta High School campus, at 1700 East Crafton, Henrietta, Texas. Participant costs are $25.00 for the 1 mile, 5K and 10K. Each participant will receive a T-Shirt and goodie bag that will bring a smile to everyone’s face. The top 3 in each division will receive medals with all children receiving ribbons.
